LIBRARY
BTC has one of the best theological libraries in the Northeast, with about 4,500 volumes, including
a special collection in South Asian culture, religion and history. The English section is housed in
the main lecture hall and the Tamil and Sinhala sections are in the library room. A Librarian and a
Library Co-ordinator manage the library and are available to help students when necessary.
ACCOMMODATION
Students from regions beyond Trincomallee are accommodated in the male and female hostels,
both situated within 3 minutes walk from the main campus. The male hostel can accommodate 8
students in the singles' quarters which also includes a study room. Another building has
accommodation for couples or more singles as necessary. Both hostels have kitchens and the
students cook together on a rota system. A resident warden oversees the supervision of the
hostels. There is special accommodation for visitors in the main campus building and the male
hostel.
