We have just had a three-day Mini Bible School in Hatton, organised by Jeyaseelan and Sivakumar, who are both graduating students who have ministries in the area. It has been a very encouraging time of learning and fellowship, there seems to be a real need for such teaching in the area. The participants come from various local churches, some pastors and others, church workers. They have requested another Mini Bible School in December, maybe we could consider doing it on a regular basis during the college holidays. Interestingly we have also bought some land in the area a few months ago (Sivakumar now lives there and has a church there) which we are hoping to develop into a field training centre. There is alot of work to be done to level the land even before we build, it seems that the ministry may well open up there before we have our own building!
