Dear Friends,
The Board meetings went well. They began on Friday (at BTC) and then
continued all through Saturday (at a local hotel) and finished on Sunday
morning (at BTC). Everyone showed alot of commitment and stamina to keep
going until we had finished the agenda. There were some good discussions and
many decisions were made.
On Friday night the students put on a small
programme of testimonies and singing and everyone was introduced. Then we
had a fellowship meal together, it was a good time of building up
relationships. One of the Sinhala couples from Habarana brought their two
girls along. There have been some encouraging testimonies from the students
about how BTC had impacted their lives. God has been good to us.
We are rather low on funds just now, although we know that there is some
money in the pipeline, hopefully it will come through by next week,
otherwise the students wont get their monthly scholarships!
